Angelina Jolie gave birth to Shiloh in a small hospital in Africa

During a conversation with Vanity Fair (2008), Angelina Jolie revealed that she did not give birth to Shiloh in a fancy expensive hospital but rather in a small hospital in Africa.  She wanted to get far from paparazzi.

Jolie shared, "We were in this little hospital in Africa when Shi was born. I don’t think there was anybody else in the hospital. It was just a little cottage, the three of us. It ended up being the greatest thing. We had wonderful doctors and nurses. It was lovely, very personal, all three in this sweet room. We had an American doctor with us, who had met the Namibian doctors, and they worked in tandem because it was a C-section and my first and we didn’t know the country. He spent a few weeks with us. There was only one pediatrician in town, and one anesthesiologist, who had to come in for that—you have to plan it.”

Jolie was also asked where does the name Shiloh come from. Jolie explained, “It’s a biblical name but we didn’t name her for that. It was a name my parents almost named their first child—there was a miscarriage: Shiloh Baptist. Because my father had been shooting in Georgia and that was the most southern name [my parents] could come up with. It’s a name I always liked. I used to go under it in hotels: Shiloh Baptist. I’d gone under it when [Brad] called hotel rooms where I was staying."

Angelina Jolie was suppose to act as Kay Scarpetta but novel fans were not happy

Angelina Jolie was suppose to act as Kay Scarpetta (2009) but fans of Patricia Cornwell's bestselling crime novels were not happy. This is because they perceive Angelina Jolie as too glamous and exotic looking compare to All-American beauty, Kay Scarpetta.

Kay Scarpetta is the character in Patricia Cornwell's novel, who is based on former Virginia Chief Medical Examiner Marcella Fierro, married psychologist Benton Wesley in the 2008 installment.

Apart from that, Jolie is too young at that time to act as 40s.

Jodie Foster was approached to play the role but she rejected and many rooted for Elizabeth Mitchell.

Patricia Cornwell met with Jolie on the set on her last film Salt to talk about the role and she shared,"Angelina had pithy things to say about what she wanted to do'".

"She was direct and goal-oriented. She waited on everyone, getting them their lunch, while her own staff was seated. She was aware intuitively how other people were feeling and wanted to make them comfortable. It was not typical for people of her stature."

James McAvoy didn't enjoy filming intimate scenes with Wanted co-star Angelina Jolie

Any man would love to film intimate scenes with Angelina Jolie because she is a beautiful lady but James McAvoy didn't enjoy it.

He shared to Ann Curry on TODAY, "It's sweaty and uncomfortable. My paranoia is the girl I'm doing the s*x scene with will think I'm getting off on her.I have nightmares about that the night before a sex scene. There's no chance of getting any kind of stimulus because you're so nervous and there's all these people watching you. It's daunting. They're considered to be the most beautiful people in the world, and I'm clearly not. I don't think I've been hit by the ugly stick, but I'm not exactly a matinee idol."

Apart from that, he felt awkward kissing with Angelina Jolie. Their first scene involved a kiss.

He shared, "It was her first day, it was her first scene. I was on set two weeks ago - I was like, 'Hey, how's it going, nice to meet you, I'm James, oh, let's have a kissing thing now!'".

But it wasn't the first time that he had to kiss on-screen. He had love scenes with Keira Knightley on "Atonement."
