Politicians wants Brad Pitt and his co-stars to premiere World War Z in Scotland.

Glasgow city council leader Gordon Matheson, said: "If the UK Premiere of World War Z was to take place in Glasgow, not only would it be a tremendous occasion for the city, it would also be absolutely fitting.

"Glasgow has always been renowned for its love of cinema and the success of the filming over the past couple of weeks shows we can host the biggest of films here.

"The reaction of Glaswegians and our visitors to the filming has lit up the city centre. We've enjoyed what has been a fantastic time. We are now being described as Britain's film-friendliest city."

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie wants to sell their Californian mansion for amount of US$13.75 million (NZ$16.4 million).

The home consists of four bedrooms and four bathrooms. And it has facilities such as swimming pool, a tennis court, expansive gardens and they added an extra floor to the house which was designed by Christopher R. Sorenson.
