Costume designer Colleen Atwood, who worked on Angelina Jolie's "The Tourist" tells about Angelina Jolie's character Elise's costumes.
She tells, “My inspiration for [Jolie's character] Elise’s costumes were the Hitchcock movies: minimal elegance".
In one scene, Jolie wore a black gown and a choker with diamonds. Atwood explained that the necklace was created by Robert Procop from an antique tiara.
Then another scene was where Jolie was wearing a camel shawl and gloves and she explained that she was inspired by a dress designed by Irene Lentz and she tells, “I took the basic idea and added some flair to contemporise it. The original had a jacket, but I really wanted something a little more luxurious, so I created the cashmere wrap. I’ve always loved a glove, and was filming in the land of fine gloves, so I used a fine suede glove to finish the look.”
