After Maleficent finished rolling, Angelina Jolie gave an expensive gift to her co-star Elle Fanning. It was a vintage diamond ring, which is a three stone Cartier ring.
The ring is a reminder of her character Aurora’s wedding.
Elle was nervous when she first met Angelina Jolie, she recalled, "I was so young and so nervous. [When I saw her for the first time], she was with her eldest son and I just bear-hugged her and tried to break the ice in that way".
