Megan Fox turned down the role as Lara Croft because of Angelina Jolie

Megan Fox's career has not been successful after she acted in Michael Bay's Transformers movies. She got fired after two Transformer movies because she say something terrible about the director. She said, "He wants to be like Hitler on his sets, and he is. So he's a nightmare to work for…".

 

She was offered the role of Lara Croft in Tomb Raider reboot but she rejected it. She doesn't want to be compared with Angelina Jolie.

A source said, "The offer has been on the table for Megan for a while but she's reluctantly turned it down. She's the logical choice to play Lara and she loves the character, but the comparison with Angelina is too much."

She doesn't want to be labelled as “poor man’s Angelina Jolie”.
