Angelina Jolie feels people don't take her politics seriously because she is an actress.

She told this in Germany’s Der Spiegel magazine: “I don't necessarily think that's a natural role for an actor. Sometimes acting and politics make a very bad combination. I think that sometimes people take me less seriously in my work for the UN because I appear in movies.” Despite her tireless work, Angelina – who spent Tuesday (28.08.07) visiting 1,200 Iraqi refugees in makeshift shelters near the Iraq Syria border – doesn’t think film stars should be seen as moral guardians.

She added: “I think we should be looking for great leaders in people who have dedicated their lives to those issues. And the reality is that actors spend a great deal of their time making films.”

Angelina Jolie's new movie Thomas Crown will be shooting in Turkey

Angelina Jolie will be acting in a new movie Thomas Crown and in that movie Pierce Brosnan will be acting also and will be after the Kasikci Diamond which is kept in the Topkapi palace in Istanbul.

Our scooper said "The film will shoot on location in Turkey, with many local actors – and extras – required for the pre-strike shoot", says our scooper.

We’re told the script is fantastic. It’s based on the book Light of Day and “will please fans of the first movie but also newcomers to the series”.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie went to Hamptons to host a charity dinner to help rebuild New Orleans via helicopter.

The event was at the home of Jane Rosenthal and Craig Hatkoff, the married couple who co-founded the Tribeca Film Festival with Robert De Niro.

Among the guests who were also attended the dinner were Christie Brinkley, Ellen Barkin and Jimmy Buffett.

Angelina Jolie’s weight loss because of hepatitis?

Star Magazine claims that Angelina Jolie’s threatening weight loss is because of life threatening liver disease. These claims stated in the magazine's latest issue.

“Angelina has had a lot of doctor’s appointments – some she’s gone to, some she’s skipped,” a source notes. Meanwhile, adds the insider, Brad has confided to family members that Angie has an illness that isn’t going away something she “will have to live with…and control with medication.”

Brad says the source, finally “convinced Angelina to go see a doctor because he was afraid something was very wrong with her. She doesn’t have much of an appetite and is eating very little. Tests were run and Brad’s family were led to believe that her illness might be something like hepatitis, but since then he’s clammed up, I think he knows what’s wrong, but he’s keeping it from people.”

Well, is she really suffering from this deadly disease? It will be sad if it is true. She has been a nice and great person, having to do lots of charity despite of her tight schedule.
