Paul Newman tops Angelina Jolie and Brad in most generous celebrity

The Giving Back Fund for Parade magazine has listed those people who are in the list for generous celebrity.

Paul Newman is in first place for the most generous celebrity of 2008. He donated a huge amount of money for charity, amounting $21m (€14.2m) to various campaigns. He tops couple Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt.

Jolie and Pitt donated estimated $13.4m (€9m) on good causes such as health clinic in Ethiopia and the redevelopment of New Orleans last year and also donated
$1m (€680,000) to help children caught up in the Iraq conflict.

Other generous celebrity is Mel Gibson. He donated $6.5m (€4.4m).

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie attend the “Half the Sky” book party. The party was held at the Pacific Design Center in West Hollywood on Tuesday night (October 27).

Angelina Jolie comments about the book, “For female readers it gives a new sense of what it is to be a woman. For husbands sons and fathers, it will infuriate and astound you. You will not want to put it down.”

Winona Ryder does not envy Angelina Jolie

Winona Ryder wants to clarify that she does not feel jealous of Angelina Jolie for winning Academy Award. Both of them acted in the same movie,`Girl, Interrupted`
in 1999.

She said "I was hurt that people thought that. Everyone assumed I was really jealous because I thought this would be my vehicle. We said from the very beginning that the actress who played Lisa (Jolie`s part) would probably win an Oscar, because it was the big, great, showy part. I fought very hard for her to have that part."

Freida Pinto wants Angelina Jolie to adopt her

Slumdog Millionaire actress Freida Pinto wants Angelina Jolie to adopt her when she first met her at the Screen Actors Guild Awards.

Pinto told Bang Showbiz: "I think she's a lovely person who is there for people who are just starting off, for starters like me. She said, 'Just enjoy this because you never know if it's going to happen again.'"

She continued: "She's a lovely lady. I don't know what else she said to me, but I wanted to go up to her and say, 'Adopt me!'"

Brad Pitt was spotted driving his bike on Saturday. But he fell down when he was trying to maneuver his bike between a parked car. But lucky he wasn't injured. Later on somebody came to pick him up.

Eventhough Angelina Jolie need to juggle between her work and her children, she still will time to do something nice for her children. She make a birthday cake for Maddox's birthday in August.

Lee, who has her own show, said "I was really surprised when her friend let me know she made my No Bake birthday cake. She's a Semi-Homemade mommy just like the rest of us!"
