Angelina Jolie's Churchill painting was sold for $11.5 million. British Prime Minister Winston Churchill gave the painting to President Franklin D. Roosevelt as birthday gift.

This painting was originally bought by Angelina's ex husband Brad Pitt in 2011 for $2.95 million from New Orleans antiques dealer M.S. Rau and he gave to Jolie as a gift.

It is believed to be the only wartime painting by Churchill.
