Angelina Jolie lookalike Melanie Tolbert is suing a Denver production company over copyright infringement and unjust enrichment.
Melanie Tolbert acted before as Jolie’s double in movies like “Maleficent” and “Mr. and Mrs. Smith,”.
Tolbert presented a videao of a mother-daughter home renovation TV show called “Like Mother, Like Daughter” to HGTV in 2014. Her idea was not accepted and High Noon Entertainment produced a similar renovation show for the home design channel, initially called “Two Chicks and a Hammer” and later changed to “Good Bones.
