Angelina Jolie shared a worldwide @amnesty campaign on her Instagram. She wrote, "Every year there is a worldwide @amnesty campaign to support people who have been persecuted or imprisoned for exposing injustice or corruption or demanding change in their societies".

"Writing a letter, or signing a petition, is one way of showing them they are not forgotten and of putting pressure on their governments to respect their rights. Anyone can take part, and I hope many of you will".

"This year’s #Write4Rights campaign is even more urgent because the pandemic has taken the focus away from people fighting for basic rights and freedoms globally".
