Angelina Jolie reunites with Mr. and Mrs. Smith director Doug Liman for a new spy thriller movie, The Initiative.
In this movie, Jolie's character will be a rogue spy known as Bright. She takes a new agent named Charlie under her wing, but Charlie doesn't know if she wants to murder him or is simply doing what is needed in the world of espionage.
F. Scott Frazier will be in charge of writting the script. Joe Roth and Jeff Kirschenbaum producing through RK Films. The film's production is expected to start as early as the first quarter of 2026.
