Angelina Jolie revealed on how her fiancee Brad Pitt and other kids make Vivienne to act scenes in the film. "The idea of doing something more than once and doing it when you're told—no 4-year-old isn't going to do what you tell them to do anyway."
"So just like any 4-year-old, she always skips around, she always collects flowers, she always collects butterflies. But when she's supposed to, she just didn't want to."
"So Brad and I, and her brothers and sisters, were all there, and I had to get the pole with the blue stick on the end that was the butterfly and I had to kind of dance in front of her."
"And then Brad had to be on the edge of the cliff that she was going to jump off of., and her brothers and sisters were trying to encourage her on... But she made us work for it. We worked hard that day. Disney said it was the funniest dailies they've ever seen, 'cause they could see us, obviously, and we had to be painted out. But we were in the shot tyring to get her to do it."
