The Jolie-Pitt Foundation donated $500,000 for long-term recovery efforts in Joplin. Then additional money was later donated too, amounting more than $1 million in total.
Brian Fogle, president of the CFO, “We had a call in the first day or two afterward from an organization representing them. They made several subsequent calls, but we learned that they made a donation (Thursday).”
