Hugh Jackman and Deborra-Lee Furness first met on the set Correlli. That time Deborra-Lee Furness was a big star. Then they went dating and got married in 1996.

 

During an interview with Australia’s Today show in 2015, she was asked whether there is any actresses that she doesn't want Hugh to work with. Her answer was Angelina Jolie.

She answered, "I've told his agent he’s not allowed to work with Angelina."

"I'm sure she's very nice and I love all, what she’s doing for, shining a light at the UN for adoption. I’m just kidding.”

She appeared on Time Magazine in 2010 and make headlines. She went for 31 surgeries as result from her mutilation.

 

She told Angelina that she wants to become a nurse so that she can 'help people;, saying, 'This is my goal. I want to become a nurse to help people. I’ve had 31 surgeries, which means I have a lot of experience in the medical world. I want to help people who are hurting and say to them, if I could get through my darkest hours, you can.'

Director Martin Campbell was looking for famous actress to fill in the role of Bond girl Vesper in Casino Royale and one of them was Angelina Jolie.

 
Angelina Jolie rejected the role and eventually Eva Green then took the role.

Jolie revealed to Vanity Fair about the studio approrach, “It started with a call from Amy [Pascal, co-chairman of Sony Pictures]. She asked if I wanted to play a Bond girl. I said, ‘No, I’m not comfortable with that, but I would like to play Bond.’ We laughed, and then, about a year later, she called back and said, ‘I think I found it’.”

Jolie then took the role of heroine Evelyn Salt in the movie Salt.

She said, “Salt is nothing like Bond. avoid that. My character doesn’t use her sexuality to get anything. It’s the roughest I’ve looked. When we fight, it gets ugly. Somebody breaks my nose in the film. It’s not pretty.”
