Angelina Jolie is furious of losing her desired role to Nicole Kidman for television series named Scarpetta.
Scarpetta is based on Patricia Cornwell’s book series. In this television series, Nicole will star alongside other cast members including Jamie Lee Curtis, Simon Baker, Amanda Righetti, Bobby Cannavale, Rosy McEwen, Ariana DeBose, Hunter Parrish, and more.
It is scheduled to be released on March 11, 2026, on Amazon Prime Video.
A source told Radar Online, "Angie is angry and says the project was 'stolen' from her. But the truth is she got outplayed because Nicole understands the current film and TV industry better. By comparison, Angie lives in a bit of a bubble."
"Angelina is beautiful and culturally important, and she's wonderful at playing various versions of herself,” the insider noted, alluding to impactful philanthropic work.
"The dark dynamic between Angelina and Nicole goes back years."
