Sydney Sweeney has been inspired by Angelina Jolie

During an interview with Variety, Sydney Sweeney was asked, "Who's the first woman you remember seeing being very powerful and being like, 'I can do that'?".

Sydney replied, "Angelina Jolie. I think her humanitarian work and just how much she gives back to people. It always so inspiring to me".

Back in 2024, Sydney wore a Angelina Jolie's 2004 Oscars Gown at Vanity Fair party. She was allowed into the archives of the New York City designer and her stylist thanked Marc Bouwer president Paul Margolin for helping create the “special moment.”

Sydney spoke E! News about why she wore the dress, "I think it's really cool to be able to wear such iconic, beautiful vintage pieces, and Angelina is a style icon".

"I love her so much. I'm such a huge fan. And being able to follow in her footsteps and have myself wear it—like Marc Bower's incredible—it felt like a dream. It was amazing."
