Angelina Jolie was asked by James Lipton about her relationship with model Jenny Shimizu

Both Angelina Jolie and Jenny Shimizu acted in the movie, "Foxfire" in 1996. 

During an interview (2005), James Lipton asked whether Jolie fell in love with somebody during the filming "Foxfire".

Jolie responded, "I got very close to Jenny". 

James then asked, "Were you just promoting the film or were you talking from the heart?".

Jolie then said, "I would never do something like that. I thought she was a beautiful, magnificent woman and I didn't see, I just said it because it was what I felt".

James responded, "Not for its shock value."

Jolie said, "No. I always still find that strange that people get shocked by something like that".
