Joachim Ronning is in talks to direct the sequel for Maleficent. Previously he was involved in Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales.
Filming will rolling on the first quarter of 2018 according to Deadline. Previously, the first Maleficent movie made $758.5 million worldwide.
