Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's friends surprised that Jolie speak publicly about their on Vanity Fai

It has been years that former couple Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have been protecting the privacy of their lives and children. Their friends were surprised that Jolie talk publicly during an interview with Vanity Fair magazine.

Family friend told ET on Friday, "It's surprising that Angelina would use the children to help herself in the story, especially after years where both were dedicated to protecting their privacy".



Another friend talks about Brad's life after the split, "He's doing great, he's doing well. The kids are his family. He's continuing to adjust to a new normal."
