A forest caught fire near Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's French chateau

A forest caught fire near Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's French chateau. More than 500 firefighters from three different districts came to put up the huge fire that covered 350 hectares (865 acres) by 7pm.

Angelina and Brad's chateau is located just five kilometres from the blaze.


A spokesman for the local emergency service said,  'In total more than 500 firefighters are fighting the fire which has spread over an estimated 350 hectares.'

'The electricity network has been cut to allow aircraft to drop water.'
