Jolie hosted a London screening of the Scot’s movie The Impossible, which is regarding about 2004 Boxing Day tsunami. In that movie, it tells about the true story of a Spanish family who were caught up in the disaster.
She gushes about Ewan McGregor during the screening, “Ewan, I’ve known you for years, you’re one of my favourite actors."
“But I watched this and I didn’t recognise you."
“It’s strange to say it’s one of the best performances of the year – it really doesn’t give it credit, because it doesn’t feel like a performance."
“It comes from such an honest place, it was so deeply emotional, you rarely see this kind of emotion from a man on screen."
