Anne Hathaway talks about Angelina Jolie's kissing

Anne Hathaway talks about movie kissing and Angelina Jolie for U.K. edition of GQ magazine (2010). She said "It's a totally different experience. But really you have to be Angelina Jolie to pull that off and still look good. I don't know if you've noticed, but I ain't no Angie."

Anne gave some tips on what she calls "pretty movie kissing," and uses the back of her left hand as the lucky recipient.

"You have to leave your mouth open a little bit. Open up. More, more, ever so lightly… Otherwise you're going to be getting smoothy. Now, slow it down … just a little bit."

"If you're both unattached and you get along, of course kissing in a movie is fun," she went on. "But you can never get truly deep down and into it. Well, I can't. Jennifer Garner -- now that girl can movie kiss!"

According to Radar Online, Grey's Anatomy's Ellen Pompeo wants to find a man for Angelina Jolie.

Angelina Jolie was asked by James Lipton about her relationship with model Jenny Shimizu

Both Angelina Jolie and Jenny Shimizu acted in the movie, "Foxfire" in 1996. 

During an interview (2005), James Lipton asked whether Jolie fell in love with somebody during the filming "Foxfire".

Jolie responded, "I got very close to Jenny". 

James then asked, "Were you just promoting the film or were you talking from the heart?".

Jolie then said, "I would never do something like that. I thought she was a beautiful, magnificent woman and I didn't see, I just said it because it was what I felt".

James responded, "Not for its shock value."

Jolie said, "No. I always still find that strange that people get shocked by something like that".

During Angelina Jolie's speech at Chopard Trophy dinner, she honors Marie Colomb and Finn Bennett, "I love international cinema. We are brought to other lands, into private moments, even on the battlefield, we connect and we empathize. I think of films like My Father Shadow, which is premiering here at Cannes. Anything that is possible to make international cinema more accessible is necessary and welcome".

"And none of us are naive. We know that many artists around the world lack the freedom and security to tell their stories, and many have lost their lives, like Fatima Hassouna, killed in Gaza, Shaden Gardood killed in Sudan, and Victoria Amelina killed in Ukraine, and so many other extraordinary artists who should be with us now. "What brings us here is not carpets, even though they’re lovely, but what brings us here is to connect to each other through international cinema and the opportunity to be with creative people,” she added. “So I am very honored to be with so many brilliant global artists, including our honorees tonight, Finn Bennett and Mary Colon. You have both been acknowledged for the extraordinary versatility, authenticity, and empathy that you bring to your roles and as rising talents in global cinema. Thank you both for your contribution that you have already made to film and storytelling, and for everything that you will go on to do creatively."

Finn Bennett gushes about Angelina Jolie to Variety, "She really cares about fostering young actors. I feel really honored, really lucky to be here. I just wanted to ask how she does it all. Like, as you can see, this is crazy. And she deals with it so well, completely calmly. And I think that’s amazing."

Marie Colomb also was star-struck by Jolie, "She’s gorgeous, she’s super beautiful. I was looking at her and I was like, ‘Wow! It’s incredible, it’s unreal.’ And at the same time it’s funny because when I met her, I met a normal, nice human being. Then when you see the photos or videos afterwards, all my friends write to me like, ‘What is that?’ So, it’s pretty crazy but cool at the same time."

Angelina Jolie attended Cannes Film Festival 2025 on Friday and she wore strapless gown that was designed by Italian brand Brunello Cucinelli.

The lasttime she attended this film festival was in 2011. For this year, Jolie has been given the honorary title of "Godmother," which means she will present the 25th edition of the Trophée Chopard to rising stars Marie Colomb and Finn Bennett.

She told Variety, "I am honored to be Godmother at the Cannes Film Festival. I am pleased to have a moment to recognize young artists and their exceptional work."
