Angelina Jolie almost reject movie "Lara Croft". During a talk at Santa Barbara International Film Festival on Feb. 5, she was asked where she considers home. 

She replied, "In my heart, Cambodia. My first trip was Tomb Raider, where you saw me hanging upside down [in the clip]."

"I learned something about life. I think about my life and the amount of things I almost didn't do, almost missed, that would've changed the course of my life. I said no to Tomb Raider when I was first called.

Then she was asked what changed her mind, she answered, "You can travel the world and train with the British military".

"And I said, 'I will wear the shorts for the first five minutes and then I'll never wear them again.' And that's true. And that's the movie. That's actually what happened."

She recalls, "If you work, they’ll have to cover it, and you’re making a commitment. But also, there’s something about being an actor where often, you’re expected to become a blank slate in between characters. You almost have to keep yourself an undefined being so you can morph into different things."

Angelina Jolie's latest movie "Couture" is heading to EFM( European Film Market). The movie was originally title "Stiches". The production has recently wrapped in Paris.

The movie tells, "In the frenzy of Fashion Week, three women cross paths in Paris, grappling with the world’s tragedies and the questions of their lives: American film director Maxine Walker (Jolie), South Sudanese model Ada (model Anyier Anei in her feature film debut) and French makeup artist Angèle (Ella Rumpf), working in the shadows of the catwalks. In the form of intertwining destinies, ‘Couture’ examines the souls and wounds of women’s bodies.”

The movie is produced by Jolie, Charles Gillibert ("Bergman Island") of CG Cinema alongside Zhang Xin ("History of Sound") and William Horberg ("Milk") of Closer Media. Bob Xu is serving as an executive producer.

During Q&A with critic Leonard Maltin, Angelina Jolie mentioned about her ex husband Jonny Lee Miller when they talked about Hackers (1995) .

She was there to receive Maltin Modern Master Award at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival on Wednesday.

Jolie and Jonny were married from 1996 until 1999.

She tells, "Yeah, it's Jonny. I just talked to him. I love that—I get to see my ex-husband with 2,000 people".

"Actually, it's funny, I don't really watch my own films, and so I [don't] think I've seen it since the premiere". 

“I do have a wonderful relationship with Jonny, he and I have sons the same age, and I'm so happy."
