Angelina Jolie often feels alone eventhough she has her children

Angelina Jolie often feels alone eventhough she has her children. She admitted during an interview with "The Sun", "I have my children I love, but as an adult I’m often alone. I find myself identifying with the solitude and loneliness Maria has."

"I also haven’t quite figured out how to live life in a way where I’m on my own. Maybe a lot of artists feel that we’re in an open space as people. We don’t quite settle, so it leaves us in a strange way sometimes."

Jolie answered, "Yes".

Then Jimmy tells, "Yeah. I think I wasn't really an outsider. I was more of like a weirdo, probably."

Jolie then said, "Really?I think you were probably a good outsider.

Then she gave some encouraging words, "I was thinking like what it is to be an outsider. I think that's just, you know, to be somebody who's comfortable with other people, maybe not understanding who you are or knowing what you do or you know, you don't feel as understood or connected but you know who you are and you're okay with that."

Jimmy responded, "Yeah, I like that. Maybe I was a little bit."

Jolie added, "It's a good thing".

Angelina Jolie's son Knox is being offered for acting and modelling

Angelina Jolie's son Knox is being offered for acting and modelling after his appearance at the Governors Awards on November 17 with her.

Source revealed to "In Touch" that Knox was very shy as a kid. Thus, Jolie has always shielded him from the public.

Source continues, "Fact is the offers for modelling gigs and acting roles are already rolling in, but Angelina isn’t about to jump at anything. She wants to be very strategic about it, because the last thing she wants is for him to get swept up into the Hollywood lifestyle.” In an effort to save them some heartache, “She still wants him to have time to be a normal teenager."

"That being said, she is certainly looking at all the offers and discussing them with Knox and her team of agents, because he does want to get out there. He’s got a big interest in music and even acting, so building up his portfolio is the smart thing to do. It’s just a matter of taking the right steps at the right time".

Angelina Jolie's late mother used to keep her movies on the television all the time

During an interview, Angelina Jolie shared that her late mother Marcheline Bertrand used to keep her movies on the television all the time just to hear her voice in the house.

Then she said, "Isn’t that sweet? Only the nice ones, though – 'Maria' would have made her too sad. I don’t think she’d like to see me die."

As for Jolie, she never thought she could be anyone's mom. She wrote on Time's Parents newsletter in 2020, "I was not a very stable youth. In fact, I never thought I could be anyone’s mom".

"I remember the decision to become a parent. It wasn’t hard to love. It wasn’t hard to dedicate myself to someone and something greater than my life."

"What was hard was knowing that from now on I needed to be the one to make sure everything was okay. To manage it and make it work. From food to school to medical. Whatever would come. And to be patient. I realized I stopped my constant daydreaming, instead staying always ready for any break into what I was doing or thinking to answer a need. It was a new skill to acquire."

Angelina Jolie didn't know how much she lost her voice after the death of her mother

Angelina Jolie didn't know how much she lost her voice after the death of her mother.

Jolie's mother Marcheline Bertrand died oin 2007, at the age of 56. She had ovarian cancer and breast cancer.

She shared, "People keep quoting me because I made, not the mistake— I admitted it was like a therapy. But it really is".

"Because I didn’t realize the practice of it and the learning of it is one thing, but it was finding my voice and letting my voice out that was really hard for me. And I was really emotional about it."

"I didn’t know how much I had lost my voice. Maybe when I lost my mother, maybe when someone hurt me, whatever it was, the different things that had made it smaller and locked it away".

"So finding it and letting it come out was very emotional, and such a feeling that I wish for everybody to have."

Referring women on the big screen, "They’re a good woman if they’re apologizing. Or if they’re breaking".

"Maria didn’t have a mother that loved her and told her that she was enough as she was, so both of our characters come from this being alone since they were little and feeling a little different for very different reasons."

Angelina Jolie apologized to audience (extras) in case she sang wrong notes loudly

Angelina Jolie apologized to audience (extras) in case she sang wrong notes loudly.

During an interview with Netflix's Queue, Jolie shared, "The funny thing is, for it to be convincing, you have to be very loud when you sing opera, as loud as you can be. Whether you feel confident or not, you still have to be very loud".

Director Pablo Larraín did a wonderful thing in that he cast a group [of extras] that stayed in the audience [throughout filming]."

"They were with me through a few performances, and these wonderful people would become so essential to the piece. I think the first day I met them I said, 'I apologize for what’s about to happen in case I hit the wrong notes loudly.' "

"It helped me [that] I was performing to a real audience. They were really kind people who knew that I was trying my best, and I wasn’t an opera singer but I was learning. We were connected in the attempt and in the storytelling. Their understanding and support were everything."
