Angelina Jolie attended 15th Calabash International Literary Festival

Angelina Jolie attended 15th Calabash International Literary Festival on Saturday. The event took place in Treasure Beach, St Elizabeth. 

Previous festival was in 2018. This event started on Friday and will be going on for three days.

Minister of Tourism, Edmund Bartlett said, “Making Jamaica their place of choice for a vacation is testimony to the post-Covid impression we have made and the appeal that we now have in the marketplace as well as confidence in what we offer as a leading destination".

A source revealed, "Cleopatra was known as the Queen of the Nile, and Elizabeth Taylor firmly established herself as Hollywood's queen in the 1963 film version".

Angelina Jolie felt uncomfortable when David Letterman brought up some awkward question

Angelina Jolie was invited to David Letterman's 'Late Show' and Jolie felt uncomfortable when he asked some awkward questions.

Jolie never like to cook and David asked whether she cooks or bakes. She replied, "No, I'm not a good woman Dave."

Then Dave made a comment on Jolie's perfume, "You smell great, you smell nice, that's a lovely fragrance, I appreciate that." Angelina replied awkwardly, "Anything I can do."

That time, Jolie was only 21 years old and going through divorce with her first husband, Jonny Lee Miller. David was not sensitive and asked her whether she was married.

Angelina Jolie did not like all the attention to Amal Clooney

Angelina Jolie did not like all the attention to Amal Clooney. According to friends, she believes Amal has stolen her identity” as the world’s most prominent, glamorous humanitarian.

One source tells Page Six, “Angelina hates all the attention that Amal is getting — she’s beautiful, she’s smart, she’s stylish, she has a beautiful family and she’s doing important human rights work.”

“Angelina lives in such a bubble, she believes that Amal is doing a ‘single white female’ on her, and Angie can’t understand why she herself has become so unpopular in Hollywood. But the truth is, Amal isn’t concerned at all about Angelina — she is fully focused on her family and her work.”

Angelina Jolie had unusual pets when she was younger

Angelina Jolie had unusual pets when she was younger. This included lizards, snakes and rats.

She had one lizard named Vladimir and a snake named Harry Dean Stanton. The snake's name was chosen based on one actor that was famous in the 60s and 70s. 

Another pet was Harry (a rat).

Angelina Jolie loves tiger

Angelina Jolie loves tiger. She doesn't mind if she was compared to a tiger. She thinks every woman has something of a tiger inside her and so do her.

She even has tattoo on her back, which shows the Bengal Tiger.

She explained more about her favourite animal,"My favourite animal is the tiger. I like them because they are very independent creatures, they are majestic, and they always move forward. Their tactic is to attack, not defend".

Well, that's explained that she also voice behind Tigress in Kung Fu panda.

Angelina Jolie posted about bees awareness on her Instagram

Angelina Jolie posted about bees awareness on her Instagram. In her post, wrote,  "Bee populations are under threat across the globe due to non-sustainable agriculture practices, climate change, habitat destruction and biodiversity erosion".

"Pollinator dependent crops contribute to 35% of global crop production volume. If the precious pollinators, especially bees, disappeared from nature, 75% of all cultivated plants and 90% of wild flowering plants that depend on pollinators would be threatened".

"On World Bee Day, I am happy to help raise awareness on the importance of this precious pollinator. By protecting the bee, we're helping to protect traditional local knowledge, preserve biodiversity, and ensuring the future of communities around the world".

In 2021, Jolie was photographed covered with bees. Photographer Dan Winters tells that everyone was wearing protective suit except Angelina.

Then he explained that moment, “It had to be quiet and fairly dark to keep the bees calm.”

“Angelina stood perfectly still, covered in bees for 18 minutes without a sting.”
