Angelina Jolie's partner Brad Pitt enjoys cleaning. He has been doing housework while Angelina Jolie away to visit a war zone.

A source told the Daily Mirror newspaper: 'Brad has always been an attentive father, but recently he's becoming more domesticated, too.'

'The couple have a lot of help around the home, but Brad's started getting quite into sorting out the washing and doing the ironing himself.'

'He's been pottering around the house a bit while Ange is away, and it helps to keep him occupied.'

'He likes nothing more than doing a bit of housework before getting the kids to help him prepare dinner, which they love.'

'He's turned into a right Mr Muscle. He's also been going to the local supermarket, and runs errands to the local dry cleaners in Camberley.'

He told the Daily Mail's Live magazine: ''America is a country founded on guns. It's in our DNA. It's very strange but I feel better having a gun. I really do. I don't feel safe, I don't feel the house is completely safe, if I don't have one hidden somewhere.

Brad Pitt wants Angelina Jolie to be proud of him

Brad Pitt needs his future wife Angelina Jolie's approval before he does any work.

When quoted Jolie's opinion about his work, he replied,  "Yes. One of the best things I've done is ensure my kids have a good mother. Of course I want her approval. Angie is a force, she cares deeply. I want her to be proud of her man."

"I spend a lot of time thinking about how I'm raising them - what do I want to impart to them, the opportunities I need to give them - that takes up a lot of my day."

"I think living in different places is the best education we've been able to give the kids. There are certain confinements that come with our lives but that side is the positive and it certainly makes up for it," he added.

Brad Pitt has six kids together with his fiancee Angelina Jolie and he finds that taking care of kids are tougher than doing stunts for his new movie Killing Them Softly.

He said: "Does it ache? Sure. The knees have gone, the back is crunchy.

"Getting the kids ready for school is every bit as painful as anything I had to do in this film."

She said, “I really didn’t know anything about auditioning. I watched and got the gist of it. I was really keen on watching how you’re supposed to audition.”

“Making the film, I didn’t think of that at all." She said of the 1996 film version of Foxfire that starred a then-unknown Jolie as Legs.

“That movie is so different, I didn’t associate myself with it. Now with all the press and everybody is trying to put their finger on this movie, now it’s in my face a little more.

“I am a big fan of Angelina Jolie but I can’t imagine myself being compared to her, especially at this point in my career. It’s my first movie. It would be amazing to have a career parallel to her. She’s a very real and admirable actress.”
